What is required from you to register?
Is this a New business or Renewal?
If renewal, we will require the Business Identification Number (or can search for an additional fee)
Provide business name
Business address (P.O. Box not acceptable)
Mailing business address (P.O. Boxes are accepted as business mailing address)
Activity of business
Type of business (Sole proprietorship, General Partnership or Tradename)
Individual(s) name and address (P.O. Box not acceptable) – if you are in a rural area, provide your rural route number or lot number when a street address is not available.
The person authorizing the registration (usually the owner of the business if other than yourself)
When registering a Tradename, the corporate name and corporate number will also be required.
Allow Ontario Business Central to register a business name on your behalf.
