Changing a Registered Business’ Information

Making changes to a registered business couldn’t be easier. Just simply review the list of changes, you can do a single change or multiple changes at the same time within the options. If you don’t see what you would like to do, just reach out to us and we will help you.

If you wish to change the name of the individual who owns a Sole Proprietorship, change from a Sole Proprietorship to General Partnership or vice versa, or change the name of the business, we cannot make this change with an amendment, a new registration is required and we can assist you to do this.

What You Need to Change Your Registered Business Information

It is helpful to have on hand a copy of your original Master Business Licence, whether it is a Sole Proprietorship, General Partnership or Tradename. Making a change to the existing business is similar to when you originally registered the business, in that the information required is as follows with the new information provided, whether it be an address, business activity or another element.

  • BIN Number (business identification number) This is located on your current registration. If you don’t have a copy or can’t find it, we can look it up for you
